Colleen Hallett

 

 

 Colleen is a fun and encouraging instructor.  Whether working with a   brand new rider or a returning rider dusting the cobwebs off an old dream, she wants her students to love riding.  Her quick smile and quiet hands easily earn the trust of both horse and rider.  Defining and then revisiting goals, she helps her students gain skill and confidence.  Building their dreams on a solid foundation of horsemanship, safety and centered riding.

 

 At 10 years old, with money saved doing odd jobs, Colleen Hallett purchased a dream.  Everybody has to begin somewhere, and Wynika was a good place to start.  Colleen has loved horses since her first ride on a pony-go-round.   Her childhood was filled with Pony Club, Junior Riders, Vaulting, Gymkhana and horse camps.   As a teen she trained under noted show jumper and professional trainer, Sue Salo*.  Colleen has founded CH Equestrians with the hope of bringing more people the joy of horses.     

 

*Sue Salo  - After riding for many years with legends Gene Lewis, George Morris and the late Jimmy Williams, competing in Madison Square Garden, and training many young riders, Sue Salo is now a world renowned agility trainer.
